PLUTON : Roman god of the Underworld, equivalent to Hades, he reigns over the underworld and the souls of the dead. Brother of Jupiter and Neptune, he is often depicted wearing a helmet of invisibility and his 3-headed dog, Cerberus. He also often carries the bident, a kind of 2-pointed pitchfork symbolising his authority over the Underworld. Associated with the wealth of underground minerals, he is the embodiment of death and implacable justice. Married to Proserpine, he is dark but fair.
